This Is The Good Stuff....

After three weeks with me stuck here in Nova Scotia, and Jon on the other side of the country in BC for a scientific diving course we finally got some time in together to kick off the summer!  On a spur of the moment decision, we decided at 6:00pm we'd be going camping that night.  It's funny, because those who know me well know that I'm pretty eager to start our family and begin that chapter of our lives together...  But little things like this definitely help you to stop and appreciate how sweet life is just the way it is for a moment.  While I'm sure we'll still be very active with our kids, taking off at 6:00pm and just being able to pick up and go is definitely a luxury lost when children come in to the picture.  It's nice to have moments like this to remind ourselves how lucky we truly are.

  3. Great pics! Looks like you guys had fun :-) It's good you're taking advantage of spur of the moment activities before bambinos arrive! Plus, it will be good practice, cause although it changes a bit, you can still do impromptu stuff with kids, it just takes a little practice!

  4. silly Canadians and your camping! haha I always wished I could camp but I'm just so scared of bugs, using the bathroom facilities...and the dark...stuff you have to be ready for out there! And yes, children equals staying home. especially babies. You have to learn to love home (constantly)
